History: Naivara was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tawna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'3". She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her black crest is still thick. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Seere was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Seere was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
