Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pirithin embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken from her home at a very young age. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He keeps his long bronze crest kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Shifting liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
