History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Purah was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Masseuse. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
