History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: 3'6" and muscular, this northern woman dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a green coat with brown slacks. She has styled her golden hair well, parting it to the left. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Buvvie was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Hatae's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hatae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Beggar business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze, marred by chocolates. Her tied-back hair is brown. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Chaedi hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.
