Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Xappan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Xappan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shanairla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Kothûg enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the east to a Seamstress, Kothûg learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult.
