She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Brewer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
