History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mantus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Mercenary.

Personality: Anne is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Anne was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anne decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
