Personality: Umpen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
