History: Cloud lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
