History: Arava hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This dark-skinned male is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has brown eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears a simple tan robe with white stripes complete with hood, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'8" when asserting himself. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Courier business.

History: Thervan was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and seeks redemption

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She carries with her a set of sais on her belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she tends to wear a large yellow jacket. Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and many dire rats want her driven away
