History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Tarak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Burto was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
