History: Born in the north to a Banker, Paelias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has taken up work as a Banker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and revenge

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Barakas was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
