History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. After coming to the age of reason, Daar took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Alston is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alston was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Birel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Birel. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
