History: Gifted from a young age, Mary studied abroad. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mary was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Ovina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Jeweler. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Fax hails from a village terrorized by drow. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
