History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
