History: Ethereal hails from a village terrorized by giants. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Ethereal began to lead the lost caravan. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of bows on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His chestnut hair is lengthy. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Gifted from a young age, Fenriz studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Fenriz took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fenriz fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Hadarai was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a tan coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aerdeth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Aerdeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of death around her neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on her belt. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her monstrous two handed axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. Her hair is auburn and curly. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of orcs
