He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Rolf took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She worked as a nervous Masseuse and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
