History: Damaia was born the youngest of three triplets. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
