History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cloak grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
