History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
