Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older man who wears yellow trousers with black and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, he is not a threatening figure. His tied-back hair is blonde. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull blue iron scale mail. His golden hair is knotted and matted. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Art is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When Isabella reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
