History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Helja alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older woman who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, she is not a threatening figure. Her golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Vorka was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 74. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Shoemaker father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
