History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Frederick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is typically in her Carter uniform. She has a very tight haircut. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Valanthe's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Valanthe took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor she uses now. She's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
