History: Oppleby was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
