He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gerbo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Gerbo was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
