Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and money/treasure

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Frug will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
