History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Synthrin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He got into the Barber business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
