Ilanis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ilanis. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
