Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This southern woman has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her blue robe. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her tied-back hair is blonde. Her skin is flawless and her brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thomas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thomas. He struck the Map Maker job and began his own company from there.
