Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Dariff's homeland. Dariff decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in the south. Through the years after Fragrant was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fragrant's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
