Through the years after Fonkin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fonkin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
