Description: She is lean but muscular and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a colorful flower in her white hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Kali speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Kali was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tordek embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Tordek and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
