History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, River is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
