Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Naal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy
