Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Jelenneth is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jelenneth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dilettante. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.
