Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His rusty crest has been sun bleached extensively. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Born in the west to a Mortician, Gorbundus learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is wearing a long, brown cloak, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'10" when asserting himself. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Ethereal took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her longsword with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Sumnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
