History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Elizabeth learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Elizabeth has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a Painter soon after.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
