History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Meriele was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Through the years after Quelenna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Quelenna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quelenna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
