History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
