Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Cartwright. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Alston was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

History: Mella was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mella. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
