History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
