History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Being a Baker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Sindri reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Criella and her spouse have recently divorced.
