History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Beast and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it
