History: Tawna was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Tawna and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Vola was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she feels kind of lost in life
