History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Damien was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Damien's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and expand his business

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 23. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Leshanna was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ruler. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a ruler and was forced into it by her family

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
