Personality: Murgen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Beggar, his father struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Beggar father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Hatae was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hatae's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
