History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but she was a colossal failure. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bounty Hunter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Oskar hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Oskar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hobart never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
