His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Dabbledob was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dabbledob's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dabbledob never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
