Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He is physically well-built. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Fonkin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He bought a axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Thoradin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
