History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Mastema is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mastema was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
